We asked the 5th and 6th graders to come up with their personal praises for God. Most of the kids mentioned things that they had received for Christmas and material blessings in their lives. It became obvious after a few minutes that they had no idea the difference between thankfulness and praise. I wanted to come up with some thoughts and a crafts that focus solely on praising our wonderful Heavenly Father and His creation.
Praising God is a way to become closer to Him. By taking notice of His nature and creation we can know Him better.
Psalm 148:1-5
