Gift Box Craft
Using Recycled Christmas Cards

You can use scraps and leftovers
from other projects on this craft. You can tie it in with a lesson
on good stewardship and using what we have wisely.
- Old Christmas cards
- Ribbons, buttons, wood beads, etc.
- Acrylic paints & brushes
- Glue stick or other craft glue
- Paper Maché or other boxes.
- Paint the boxes the color of your choice with acrylic paints.
Allow at least 1 hour to dry between coats. You can lightly sprinkle
glitter on the last coat if you desire.
- Cut designs off of the old Christmas cards to fit your boxes.
- After the paint is dry glue on embellishments. I used a hot
glue gun to glue the wood bead feet on the box shown on the right.
