- Paint the inside of the cups with gold acrylic paint. (I used three coats - giving at least an hour drying time between each coat)
- Paint the wooden balls the color you choose for your angel. I used two coats allowing an hour between each coat.
- Turn the painted communion cup upside down. Hot glue the wood ball to the top of the cup. If there is a hole in the ball, glue the hole side down.
- Cut 1/3 of the gold pipe cleaner and fashion this into a circle and twist to close. This is the halo. Glue the halo to the back of the angel head.
- Take your white card stock and cut a heart shape. Click here for pattern. Trim the heart with your scalloped edged scissors.
- Lay the trimmed heart down and cover with a glue stick and then lightly sprinkle with gold glitter. Allow to dry and do the other side.
- Fold the heart in half and glue to the back of the cup (you can use a Pop Dot or hot glue gun). Align with the center point of the halo. This is the angel's wings.
- If you would like your angels to have faces, use a wood paint pen or sharpie.
