Try as I might, I don't think I could improve on this ready-made craft
kit to go along with the story of Jonah and the Whale. The craft itself
is actually a message holder. You can tie it into the story by telling
the students that Jonah was asked by God to take a message to Nineveh.
Even though Jonah initially disobeyed God's word, Jonah did deliver
the message. God used the whale to make Jonah obey.
There is some sanding and painting involved so you might
want to go ahead and pre-assemble this craft and make it a "take
home" for younger children (maybe age 6 and above). They will have
fun relating the story to their parents. You can even have them write
their own message about sharing God's word and clip it in the holder.
