- Heavy Shirt Cardboard cut into 12" x 3" strips
- Yarn cut into 29" lengths
- Scotch Tape
- Single Hole Punch
- Angels from Angel Pattern
Punch out holes on each side of the cardboard approximately 1.5 inches apart as shown in picture. Secure one end of the yarn pieces with scotch tape to act as a needle so that the yarn will go through the card board easily. Tape the other end to one end of the card board (this will be the back). Thread the yarn through the holes making sure the front yarn is straight across like the slats of a ladder would be. Finish by securing the taped end of the yarn with more tape when you reach the top. This is the ladder. Print out the angels and cut each apart. Have the children color faces, hair and robes. Tuck the angels into the yarn and secure with tape.
